We are at the fulcrum of a paradigm switch to Decision Flow-3D™ and decision-based analytics. Early attempts to latch AI Automation onto legacy 2D images and systems have shown poor outcomes; legacy systems impede adoption of AI in healthcare. It will take the best systems-level paradigm-shift human-information interaction designs and top execution to generate platform-level success and large-scale social impact. Cubismi’s team of leading experts will continue to responsibly validate and build our cloud platform. While AI Automation groups seek to automate existing questions doctors ask today using “artificial intelligence,” we will continue to empower our community of physicians and researchers to ask new questions. We will place our expert users at the center of medical discovery to help them push the boundaries of new frontiers. Together, we will constantly pursue the most advanced ways to collect, visualize, interact with, and analyze medical big data and precision analytics.
Cubismi’s unique AI-cloud platform was designed by the Founder, a radiologist physician innovator and inventor, and is being built by a world-class team of engineers. Our team includes many top leaders with proven expertise and success as innovators in cancer imaging, information technology, software engineering, cloud platform design, cognitive science, healthcare business models, digital medicine, machine learning and explainable AI, and precision image reconstruction, as well as top visual artists and designers. Our partners provide powerful enabling cloud technology to support the rapid maturation and future scaling of our unique and proprietary platform.
Featured Board, Team & Advisors
Moira Schieke, MD
Founder / CEO / CMO
Dr. Moira Schieke is a cancer imaging/MRI expert and a board-certified clinical radiologist, as well as a visual artist. She is the chief designer of the Decision Flow-3D platform, including its health data and cancer informatics system. She is chief inventor of Cubismi’s patent-protected 5D Cancer Computer Vision / precision digital twin technology, which includes use of neural networks. The platform design leverages her key clinical insights into how a paradigm-switch decision-based system, including use of Decision Intelligence, can empower physicians’ decision-making and lead to improved patient outcomes.
ALEXANDER NORBASH, MD
Board of Directors
Dr. Alexander Norbash is a proven corporate culture and medtech innovation leader. He is Chair and Professor of Radiology at the University of California, San Diego with an active endovascular neurosurgical practice. He is a noted innovator of many novel materials and devices for endovascular neurologic therapies. He serves as Associate Vice-Chancellor for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at UCSD with principal responsibilities for climate and professional development. He is the founding faculty director of the ACR Radiology Leadership Institute and BlueLINC for students from the schools of engineering, business, and medicine. (uncompensated)
Board of Directors
Louise Kirkbride is an accomplished pioneer and innovator in both astrophysics and communications technology. In 1976, she was a finalist in the first selection of astronauts for the Space Shuttle program. She later founded Answer Systems. From just an idea, the company grew to profitability by delivering proven cost savings to its Fortune 500 customers like Walgreens, Prudential Securities, and Royal Bank of Scotland. Broad Daylight, her second company, was among the very first to deliver SaaS CRM solutions to Cisco, ATT, BellSouth, McDonalds, Kodak, and others. She currently serves on the Board for CalTech University.
Interim Chief Technology Officer
Maria Halstead is a proven software engineering leader with over 15 years experience in successful innovative healthcare software deployments to replace legacy systems. Notably, she led the successful replacement of legacy systems at Premera Blue Cross with a critical-need enterprise-wide complex Provider Information system. She was instrumental for AI solutions in the payer space for the start-up, KenSci. She currently leads teams of >150 as a Chief of Staff for Microsoft hardware quality assurance teams.
Chief Digital Trust Officer
Scott Whitmire is a leading digital trust expert for the healthcare industry with a unique combination of systems architecture and health data expertise. He is involved in development of health records providing patients’ direct control through the Trust-Over-IP Foundation.
